Student Information

All GCSE examinations will take place in the Sports Hall unless otherwise advised.

All GCE examinations will take place in the Sixth Firm Study Room unless otherwise advised.

Examinations are conducted in sessions.  Morning sessions start at 9.15 am, afternoon sessions start at 1.30 pm.

If you have an exam clash i.e. more than one exam in a session these will be taken one after the other.  Always ensure that you report to the exam room at the start of each session.

GCSE/GCE Examinations Summer 2010

All examination dates are dictated by the Examination Boards and all examination papers are secured until the official date. Any student, who is absent and does not take an exam on the correct day, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THAT EXAM LATER IN THE TERM.

This is a tremendously busy and stressful time for all students involved as the workload and pressure can be extremely intense. If your child is taking exams this year we urge you not to take them out of school during this time for any reason.

The summer examination series will involve some Year 10 students, all Year 11, 12 and 13.

Internal Assessment Activities - Science

The Science Department will be conducting further Internal Assessments for both Year 11 and Year 10 during July.  Students will have a week of prep work in their Science lessons before hand, the last of these lessons being the assessment. The schedule will be publishes as soon as it becomes available.
