Safeguarding
Staff at The Kingsbrook School's main priority is the health, safety and well-being of every child. Students are listened to and their concerns taken seriously.
Through teaching character and building resilience and confidence we aim to support our students in being able to enjoy their time at school and work in partnership with families to help children achieve their potential and make a positive contribution to their community.
Safeguarding children is the responsibility of everyone in our school community, we all have a roll to play in keeping children safe and staff are regularly trained to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns. On some occasions our concern about a child and duty of care may mean that we have to consult other agencies. Unless it is not safe for a child, we would always aim to achieve this with a parent's consent (see TKS Child Protection Policy).
